Staff and students from marginalised groups continue to face barriers in developing their skills and careers in academia. Focusing on the actions universities can take, this conference looks to address these barriers and create a strategy for the long term.These opportunities are more important than ever, and it is crucial that we work together to understand and look at the systems that cause these barriers, create supportive spaces to develop the talent in the UK and a culture of belonging for under-represented and marginalised groups.
